Anna Lichtenberg Rockin' it Out For Love and Justice

Anna has been a San Francisco Bay Area resident for the past 20 years, who was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a composer/arranger, flutist, vocalist and contemporary pianist. Her most recent projects include and original choir anthem entitled "Promised Land," to encourage restoring a progressive and inclusive democracy in the US; original jazz/pop piano works and gospel/rock covers featuring her arrangements for flute, vocals and piano. Anna began as a classically trained flutist in Ohio where she studied with many wonderful teachers including Carol Riggs Spackey, Sandra Seefeld and Joseph Juhos. She then studied jazz piano with the late, great Neal Creque, a masterful jazz/soul artist whose teaching style she strives to emulate with her own flute and piano students. She has sung with the San Francisco Lyric Chorus, and has had experience teaching and directing church choirs and children's choirs.

Anna's music can be found on streaming platforms, SoundCloud and ReverbNation. She is currently working on pop/rock/gospel album of original music which includes songs of a spiritual nature which are aimed toward addressing the types of exclusion and intolerance often experienced in religious communities that tend to go unnoticed or unaddressed. Anna continues to perform and record in between teaching a full schedule of delightful students that inspire and challenge her to be the best teacher and mentor she can be. She is open to future recording or compositional projects in California.
