Singer/Songwriter Juliana MacDowell Comes Up Big With Her New Single & Video

After a long week, Saturday beckons.

It's a day designed for slowly rolling out of bed at whatever hour one chooses, followed by leisurely plans before gearing up for a night out on the town. Work is behind you, and you still have another full day ahead to rest and recuperate before the grind begins again.

There might not be another group of people who appreciate Saturdays more than rock musicians, seeing as it's one of the busiest nights of the week for live music and general rock 'n' roll style debauchery. So, of course, the legend of Saturday and all it entails has made its way into many song lyrics.

So we've got you best Saturday party anthem. Songstress/Songwriter Juliana MacDowell has brought out a new party number. Titled "Living For A Saturday Night", the track aims at setting the dancefloor afire. This high energy song is sung and very well composed by Juliana MacDowell. The track is fresh and contemporary and presents very cool Saturday party vibes.

Listen "Living For A Saturday Night" Now

In the music video of "Living For A Saturday Night", Juliana is playing guitar in bar and talking about breaking free from the 9 to 5 grind and just having a good time with great people. There's nothing better than dancing the night away with your best friends. You’ll probably never regret the time you took with to celebrate, let loose, and live life to the fullest.

Juliana MacDowell is a sonically sensational and sensitive singer-songwriter who unflaggingly delivers spirited performances at every show. She splits her time between the hills and hollers of Loudoun County, Virginia and the riotous rock that is Key West. When not performing with illustrious D.C. guitarist, Mike Ault, or her band, The Agreeables, Juliana works on her songwriting and recording. I would compare Juliana's sound to a lovely blend of Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Trisha Yearwood and Bonnie Raitt.

I have been monumentally blessed in my lifetime with both the good and the bad. The former, providing the encouragement to stay in forward motion, and the latter refining the soul.  It's been a wild ride so far and I'm excited to see what's just around the bend. - Juliana MacDowell

With two albums in the rear-view mirror, she looks ahead to the release of her latest project, recorded in the hallowed halls of Ocean Way on Nashville's Music Row and produced by multi-Grammy winning producer/engineer, Bil VornDick (Alison Krauss, Bob Dylan, Ralph Stanley, Bela Fleck). "Big Old Yellow Moon" offers a soul-pleasing palette of mini-masterpieces spanning from beguiling ballads to southern-swamp blues.  The first single from the record is "Living For A Saturday Night."  It's an upbeat party song that will bring a smile to your face and get your foot tapping.  The video for the song is fantastic and I've been watching it at least twice per day since Juliana was brought to my attention.  Juliana is a supremely talented singer, songwriter and performer.  Check out her new single and the cool video online today.  I look forward to hearing the full length record once it is released in late May 2023.
