Yard Of Blondes and Burak Yerebakan - live show at the Troubadour, Los Angeles, CA - 2019

Born and raised in Istanbul, Burak Yerebakan has played with some of the biggest Turkish rock bands and pop artists in the country. (Model, Vega, 110..). As a member of 110 and Model, Burak won numerous awards, made countless TV and radio appearances, and toured all over Turkey and Europe as a guitarist.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 2015, he pursued his career and joined the international rock band, Yard Of Blondes.

The album Feed the Moon released in 2021, produced by Billy Graziadei (legendary founder of NYC hardcore band Biohazard), mixed by Mike Patterson (Nine Inch Nails, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Beck..), and mastered by Maor Applebaum (Faith No More), has been featured in magazines, on major editorial Spotify playlists, and played on radio stations worldwide.

The band members and Burak have performed in Los Angeles' most legendary venues, and are currently preparing a US and European tour, as well as a new album.

Avant-garde guitarist and producer, Burak Yerebakan is also one half of the Los Angeles duo, Crook.

This indie-alternative project allows him to create modern and powerful audio textures using modular synths, analog outboard gear and various digital tools to create a hybrid sound. While crafting different soundscapes with his machines, Burak also uses a theremin with his guitar to create a rich swelling pad sound controlled by his hands moving in the air, which helps set the band apart in a crowded music market.

In February 2023, Crook will perform a series of concerts as part of a special residency in Echo Park, Los Angeles to introduce a new live set and their new song "Risk," co-written, produced, mixed and mastered by Burak Yerebakan. For the occasion, Burak is preparing a light show automated from Ableton Live using Novation controllers.

Stay tuned : Crook will be releasing  the new single, along with a music video early 2023.

With all the projects he undertakes, Burak Yerebakan has constantly been in high demand by artists around the world, including Turkish singer Fatma Turgut, rising pop singer Buel, and most recently the up and coming indie-pop artist Sonja Midtune, to name a few.

2022 was a busy year for Burak, producing, performing, recording and mixing for his projects and many other artists, so he feels that now is a good time to center back to a personal solo project : Wakeful.

Having envisioned the music as well as an entire visual universe for several years, Burak took the time to write, produce, mix and master this beautiful melodic house/techno experiment.

The first and long awaited single "Light in the Night" will be released on December 15, 2022, and Burak is now working on his live electronic and DJ sets to stream and perform throughout 2023. Burak will kick off the new year with a four track EP drop, called “Wakeful” with a series of single releases.
