Check Out a Brand New Single "River Creed" from Band "Rick and Friends"

Rick Drevet, Mark Pappalardo and Rusty Wright collaborated on a new musical venture. Their vast musical and life experiences, energizes them to create classics that will stand the test of time. They share a life, and values philosophy of pulling from actual experiences. Reaching deep into their hearts and souls, to find creative and poetic ways to convey these true stories to their fans. Hook filled, catchy tunes based in a Rock-Southern Rock-Blues blended style all their own. Soaring vocal harmonies, soul-stirring lyrics that draw you into the story, flanked by dual guitars and a beat that will have your head rocking and foot tapping!

Based in St. Peters Missouri, the songs are a fantastic blend of Americana, Southern Rock, Blues, Rock and Country.  My favorite songs are "Livin' Day To Day" and "River Creed," the latter having a super-fun music video.  They share the celebration and aspect of their life, in the track and video, “River Creed”. Whether they are working on the rivers or lakes, moving much needed commodities and supplies, or just playing, this track and video explains what that life and shared emotions encompasses.   With so much of today's music being created by computers, it's wonderful to discover songs written and performed by artists with pure talent.

Who is "Rick and Friends" Band

RICK DREVET | Songwriter and musician

Rick Drevet grew up in Mt. Juliet Tennessee. Playing guitar since age 10 when his mother bought his 1st guitar off the discount rack for $10. “Pretty sure that guitar neck was converted to an axe handle.”

Playing with friends in high school and soon after joining the east Tennessee band Zachery Bow. Rick laid a solid Rock foundation. Rick moved back to Nashville to form Stiff Kitty and all original Rock/Metal group. From there Rick moved to Florida where he joined Audio Vault. After taking several years out of music, Rick built and eventually sold Planet Ear Candy studios in St. Charles, MO. Rick loves to connect with a crowd and seeks to be known as a good writer and decent musician. He describes himself as a “Never satisfied tone junkie.”

Mark "Boomer" Pappalardo | Master Percussionist

Boomer started playing drums at the tender age of 5 yrs old. Started with lessons from Wally Warrick (original drummer from Tijuana Brass). He studied with Wally till the age of 10, when he turned pro, doing paid gigs with a jazz quartet playing bebop out of the "Book of Standards" This is where he met 72 yr old bassist Hank Weyland, the long time stand up bassist with Benny Goodman.

At age 18 he Graduated from High school and attended MIT in Hollywood (The Musicians Institute) where he received his degree in Percussion (trap kit) and a minor in contract law. By age 30 he had established his own music production company where he was writing, arranging, recording and producing both himself and his band Red Alert and others.

Since moved out from Los Angeles to St. Louis, where he have continued to perform with various acts, still writing and recording, touring and performing both in St. Louis and Nashville, TN. This chapter brings him to Rick & Friends. He is very excited to be involved with such pro level project of high caliber musicians, singers and songwriters and am looking forward to presenting this project world wide live on tour!

Rusty Wright | Vocals and Guitar

In his home state of Michigan, Rusty Wright was hailed as the most compelling blues rock act to emerge from the state in a decade, receiving accolades from Buddy Guy, Charlie Musselwhite; W.C. Clark; members of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet, and even Question Mark of the 1960s iconic band Question Mark & the Mysterians. Rusty Wright is a masterful lyric storyteller who ignites his musical tales with world class fretwork.
