Joey Fatts returns with his latest record, "Olive Boy" ft. Vince Staples and more.

Joey Fatts has established himself as an underground legend over the course of his career. The Long Beach native was initially noticed by the late A$AP Yams' in the mid-2010s before keeping his foot on the pedal. He's having a hell of a run this year, particularly, now that he's released his latest project, Olive Boy. The rapper unleashed the project this week which includes appearances from Vince Staples on the previously released single, "Havin' My Way" and La Papas who appears on "Not My Problem."

Over the course of 10 tracks, Joey Fatts' provides vivid imagery and storytelling throughout the project that reflects his humble upbringing in Long Beach. There are braggadocious moments but Fatts' counters that with moments of vulnerability. When he's talking about the thrill of gangbanging as a youth, he counters it with references to his mother's unconditional love for him. Joey Fatts certainly doesn't miss and with the majority of the project handled on his own, he brings these memories back to life.

Olive Boy is an autobiographical project that gives the purest insights into Joey Fatts' truth.
