Gabriel K - A new African Pop sound

This amazing vocalist is based in Uganda a small East African Nation. His music is nothing small by any standards. Gabriel K _ sings Food for The Soul You can’t really say what is beautiful about a place, but the image of the place will remain vividly with you. Music can bring about different vibes on the field, off the field, urban life, going to church, leaving church. Everything the world may bring, there’s a song for it to put you in the right frame of mind. 
The true beauty of music is that it connects people. It carries a message, and we, the musicians, are the messengers. So is mantra that Gabriel K goes and approaches his music by. The first single on the album, “Done Waiting” defines what Gabriel K is about. He says he waited too long to follow his passion and he is “done waiting”! So now here is the birth of his debut album. The Album does not feature any other Artistes but has been put together by a seasoned team of song writers and producers. On the Album is award winning singer/song writer Esther Nabaasa who teamed up with Michael Fingaz another renown producer with a knack for making hit songs – the song Done Waiting is a product of this duo. 

Michael Fingaz is the producer behind the hit song “I will love you everyday” by Bebe Cool. A reggae remix of done waiting was done by Big Nash of Big Nash Muzik records. Other renown producers and song writers that feature on this album include – Yese Oman Rafiki (Wine Glass and Kuuma), Ray Signature/Sir Dan Magic (Marry You), Ray Signature/DKing (What is Love), TheWeezy (Ndoto “if i can’t live without you”) and the Duo of Michael Fingaz/Esther Naabasa come back with another two special songs “Special Woman” and “We just wanna love”. GabrielK (real names Gabriel Kakuru) is also an advertising magnate with a multinational Advertising firm Brand Active. 

He is a a trained civil engineer and a psychologist, a very rare combination indeed! “I prefer going to the studio to make music than go to the golf club”. Indeed the passion is felt by both his delivery vocally and the lyrics of the songs. Its by no surprise that he remains number 1 on reverberation R’n’B Charts for over 8 months running. In the same period he has released a record 12 videos averaging nearly 2 per every month! And these are not cheap outputs as the names on the directors range from award winning Sasha Vybze, J Blessing and Director Pest. It's evident that this talent has come solid. So Gabriel K is clearly living out his dream, looking super cool on his album cover and equally dapper in his music videos. 
The opening track to his 16-audio-set, We Just Want Love ought to be an anthem. And it’s not like he’ll be dying for radio airplay or TV rotation competing with those ear-grating two-syllable bubble gum pop acts. Gabriel K has gone one better and harnessed the promotion potential of digital outlets.
