Singer and songwriter Steve Dunn is one of the most intriguing and talented artists to surface in the last few years. Steve Dunn is an artist based in Connecticut. He has always focus on creating beautiful vocal melodies, interlaced with country, rock and other influences. Now in 2022, he dropped his fresh new studio album “Last Call”, this project is a perfect blend of country, rock, and folk.

From the concept to the production and Steve’s passionate performance, this release is a sure-fire hit and a great addition to Steve’s aesthetics and musical excellence. I love how he also brought some melodic tones into the mix! You will immediately savor the fragrance of the song’s arrangement and the clarity of the mix, with a crisp top, and a softer texture as you reach deeper into the song. The instruments collide together beautifully, and there is a lot of room to let everything breathe, balanced to absolute perfection. In addition to that, the tone of Steve’s vocals are truly remarkable. As soon as you go ahead and sample a first taste of "Last Call"!, you are definitely going to want to dive in deeper and even explore more of Steve’s music right away, just so that you can keep the flow going.

This release stands out as a great introduction to Steve’s music, and it is definitely a premonition of great things to come. I would warmly recommend listening to this release if you are a fan of artists like Zac Brown, James Taylor, Keith Urban, and Brad Paisley. The track "Last Call" is dedicated to all the babies that grew up to be cowboys. This song is indeed a perfect introduction to Steve’s songwriting style and a very good indication of what this talented artist is really all about. The catchy first single is "Mixtape" and the lyrics are smart, playful and will evoke many great memories!

Last but not least, the instrumental is perfectly balance, is just the last sprinkle on top, which serves as a perfect companion to Steve’s fantastic vocal performance in full project. This is yet another amazing addition to Steve’s discography, and it is another album from him that will undoubtedly bring more fans to discover and appreciate his music. “Last Call” actually has a very unique sound that has its roots in rock and country, but which also brings something completely different to the table. I saw Dunn perform in New Jersey at the legendary Stanhope House a few years ago and his live show and band were outstanding! I'm glad to see him back with fantastic new songs here in 2022. With 6 records under his belt, Dunn has played on numerous recordings, toured extensively, received radio play, appeared on numerous TV and Radio shows across the USA, and continues to be a musician’s musician.
