The trendiest French duo conquering the world is Kids Return. Meet one half of the duo, Adrien Rozé.

Kids Return was formed in early 2020. Already known nationally throughout France as well as internationally thanks to his prior success with the band Teeers, the duo will soon be performing at major festivals in the U.S., including SXSW Music Festival, Governor’s Ball, The Pitchfork Music Festival, Lollapalooza, and Coachella, among others.

Adrien Rozé’s career has been and continues to be exceptional, as he has earned the status of one of the world’s top, young French indie pop/rock musicians.

Originally from Paris, Adrien Rozé started playing music with friends during his high school years. From a very young age, he has always been passionate about cinema, and his fascination for music scores pushed him to pick up an instrument and compose melodies. At the age of 13, he started taking guitar lessons and developed a crazy passion for the Beatles. He regularly went to the local record store with the ambition to buy all the albums. It was during this period that he discovered many other bands from the 60's like The Kinks and The Small Faces, and that he met Clément Savoye, with whom he’d share his CD’s and music endeavors, and eventually, the two would realize their dreams in the music world.

The two began playing music together in front of audiences, and formed the band Teeers. Performing keyboards for Teeers, Adrien Rozé first began to gain national recognition, playing at various venues and clubs throughout France, up to larger ones such as La Boule Noire (Paris), Zeniths (St Etienne and Dijon), Musilac Festival (Aix-Les-Bains), or Arena Geneve (Switzerland). Enjoying widespread international recognition, the band generated 8+ million streams across streaming platforms, performing at sold-out venues, being propelled on national TV, and getting radio airplay in the U.S., Korea, Brazil, and Switzerland.

After performing together for four years with Teeers, at the start of the Covid19 crisis and the hiatus of live performances, Adrien Rozé and Clément Savoye went on to form their own project together, forming the band Kids Return. The duo has already recorded and released several recordings and performed live in venues all around Europe, in front of audiences of up to 25.000 people. Recognized for being among the best new talents to emerge from the pandemic, Kids Return performed at the 2022 ESNS Festival, known for showcasing the best and most promising musical talent from Europe, and will perform at Rock en Seine festival in Paris. As one of the hottest new French groups, Kids Return was also recruited to open for Polo & Pan’s and Kid Francescoli’s current tour.

Kids Return is set to play the biggest festivals in the US, and they will be headlining at legendary venues, including The Great American Music Hall (San Francisco), The Bowery (NYC), Brighton Music Hall (Boston), The Filmore (Philadelphia), The Echo (Los Angeles), and El Rey Theater (Los Angeles).

Kids Return is first and foremost about the deep and longtime friendship between Adrien Rozé and Clément Savoye. Just like in the film of the same name from the Japanese director Takeshi Kitano, the French duo's project speaks of the depth contained in the false naivety of childhood and the evocative power of nostalgia when it blurs the line between joy and sadness.

At the forefront of the music industry in France, and collaborating with legendary music production companies, Kids Return’s music is described as modern indie pop/rock,

somewhere between the Californian pop of the Mamas and the Papas, the orchestrations of Vladimir Cosma and the modesty of the soundtracks of Joe Hisaishi. It draws on the energy of Blur and the vocal harmonies of MGMT, while revisiting these Anglo-Saxon influences with the precision and delicacy of the arrangements of a group like Air. The result is a romantic and melancholy melody, a laboratory of emotions…” - Les Inrockuptibles

After the success of the three hit singles “Our Love,” “Melody,” and “Orange Mountains,” Kids Return is now releasing their new single “Forever“ and unveils an unexpected live video of the song, directed and filmed by their best friend Tara-Jay Bangalter

The video is a live session shot in sequence in 16mm. While the original version of the track Forever is very produced, here Kids Return plays it in a stripped-down version, only with a guitar and keyboard (the casiotone used by Clément was often used for music lessons at school in the 80s), accompanied by a children's choir.

Their first full-length album “Forever Melodies” is set to be out in the fall of 2022.
