POGGY’S VOICE IS LIKE A RAW ELEMENT CALLING YOU BACK TO THE WILD

Kent based singer songwriter and musician Poggy grew up in a family of 6 on the Kent coastal town of Deal Uk. Music filled the house during these early years and it was through playing, singing and harmonising with her 4 sisters that her musical foundation was cast. Poggy’s debut album mixes elements of jazz, world and folk to create a kaleidoscopic journey through song. ‘Woman’ is the title of her debut album, recorded and produced by Richard Bundy (Sugababes, Marlon Roudette) and mastered by Ben Allen (Basheba, FyFe). Woman features 11 songs which tell of family bonds, interconnectedness and freedom. This is vibrant, fresh and contemporary music. Poggy is currently working on her next release with songs moving deeper into self reflection and innately woven into her own observation and relationship with natures seasonal shifts and changes.

Poggy recently featured on BBC Rado Kent Sessions and supported both Namvula and Maya Yousef recently at the Guilbenkian Theatre, Canterbury as part of the Songbirds series in collaboration with Music for Change. Poggy looks forward to orchestrating a tour in the new year potentially in Germany and the Uk, and in the mantime is focused on the completion of her new release.

Though she was featured in recently released Lifoti's January/February 2020 issue 11, you can check it from below link's for your country:
