Get into The Light with MonkeyRat enlightening message to the world

The strange but beautiful, groovalicious beast of a band called MonkeyRat, named after the Chinese astrological signs of its spacey main members, the husband and wife team of Arnold Ludvig and Anna Iachino. A star studded trinity of female African American & African inspiring hair-raising gospel voices that will uplift your soul. 
This is MonkeyRat´s first Hip Hop/Gospel collaboration.  The featured singers on the track are - Debbie Cameron, daughter of the late great Etta Cameron, Deborah Herbert, and Joanita Zachariassen. The international musicians and singers are a stellar cast of artists transcending racial boundaries through the power of music.  The gospel singers and musicians are all based in Copenhagen, Denmark, while MonkeyRat´s songwriter/vocalist,  Anna Iachino and composer/bassist, Arnold Ludvig both live in the Faroe Islands.  MonkeyRat with Anna Iachino's great lyrics, voice, animated storytelling and humor, sings, raps and perform's spoken-word, over Arnold Ludvig's superb virtuosic bass playing, slap bass technique and well crafted music. Together, they deliver an original, eclectic, and powerful expression, rooted mainly in Funk, with a little Reggae, Retro, Rap, Urban, Spoken Word, Soul, hints of Jazz, Punk and the new addition of Gospel to the mix.
