Woody James Bands prides themselves on specializing in both Original and Classic Rock

Woody James has been playing guitar and singing in Rock Bands for a good while. Hailing from Vancouver,BC he was exposed to some of the finest musicians in the business at an early age. Woody caught a break in the mid 90's , signing a deal with FACTOR CANADA to record ‘Rock n Roll Will Never Die. 

‘Singles from this album were Wrong Time and Look Me in The Eyes and Blue Lightning receiving airplay Distribution through CD Baby sold albums in both the US and in Europe while a majority of Canadian sold albums were from Merch tables at Live shows. 

Woody James Band is still going strong playing most weekends of the year at Canadian Pubs and Clubs and usually a few Summer Festival appearances on larger Concert Stages. Woody James Bands prides themselves on specializing in both Original and Classic Rock as all of their followers would attest to ‘Breakin Free’, a demo album that landed. Woody a Factor Deal included All Alone, Simple Man and the popular hits at live shows Little Miss Queenie and Back Door Man. 

Another album in the late 90s ‘Pledge’ included Sugar, Southern Belle and award winning Great Brave Cowboy Woody James Live shows include Songs from 3 albums plus cover songs by bands like Deep Purple,Bad Company and Rod Stewart and the Faces -and lots of fancy guitaring by this fast picking Canadian. An original style of playing somewhat reminiscent of Jeff Beck, Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton with tinges of both 70's Fusion and more modern neo-classical styles A favorite around the Vancouver area with a consistent and energetic live show.
