 It's been a minute since we last heard from London Grime artist & Drake affiliate Skepta. In fact, with exception to his song “Hypcrisy” back in July & an interlude on Drake’s More Life playlist earlier this year, the last time the Boy Better Know rapper impacted our site was back in May of 2016 when he released his Konnichiwa album featuring Pharrell, ASAP Nast, BBK, and more, but thankfully that all changes here today. After teasing us with new music on Instagram over the weekend, Skepta decides to celebrate this year’s Halloween by coming through today with a new surprise EP called Vicious.

Laced with 6 tracks in total, the mini-project features guest appearances from A$AP Rocky, Lil B, A$AP Nast, and Section Boyz. Meanwhile, production is handled by the likes of Mystro & Skepta himself, who’s apparently responsible for four out of the six tracks.

The project surfaces just a couple months after the London rapper teamed up with Nike for a special edition Air Max 97 collaboration inspired by his love for Morocco and the unique 1999 Air Tuned Max sneaker. “I found Morocco, and it was perfect. Everything I wanted to feel about peace, I found it there.” As for the 1999 Air Tuned Max, which was the first shoe Skepta ever saved up to buy, he says, “I wanted to bring its magic to the 97." “The magic that first made me fall in love with Air Max.” Peep the upcoming collab right here.
