Trae Tha Truth's "48 Hours Later" is a welcome collection of haunting trap bangers.
Trae Tha Truth continues to slide over ominous instrumentals with an effortless swagger, flowing with a dexterity his baritone voice might not initially suggest. Though one might be inclined to write this off as yet another collection of hard-hitting bangers, the project is far more atmospheric than initially expected.
Employing moody, synth-driven, and relatively haunting production, Trae's latest contribution to the 48 Hours series feels uniquely nocturnal. It's a testament to Trae's oft-underappreciated versatility, and should be a pleasure for anyone seeking a cohesive vibe.
