 After sharing his Spiritual Conversations EP in March, Sacramento rapper Mozzy returns with a new joint project alongside Seattle Kae One, keeping up his prolific output and penchant for collaboration. Always one to know his strengths, Run It Up Activities continues to build Mozzy's familiar world, as he tells gritty stories over West Coast grooves. It features guest appearances from regular collaborators E Mozzy and Philthy Rich, as well as a verse from the late Jacka.

After releasing many independent albums over the last few years, Mozzy shared what he classified as his official debut LP with 1 Up Top Ahk last August. Prior to that, he teamed up with Miami's Gunplay, a like-minded artist who provided a more energetic contrast to Mozzy's precise storytelling, on the collaborative Dreadlocks & Headshots. Though his fanbase has grown significantly as he reaches out of his regional support system, Mozzy's music and release strategy are as uncompromising as ever, and chances are this won't be the last project we get from him before the year's out.
