 North Carolina up-and-comer mikey100k is making a name for himself. His melodic autotune crooning doesn't feel trite, but instead, mikey100k finds news flows to create memorable music. Who Needs Friends? is a three-song EP that features mikey100k employing his familiar mellisonant flows. 

Who Needs Friends? begins with "Matrimony," a slow and wavy track with a hook so addicting that it is sure to lodge itself into the back of your brain for days to come. "Bossin' Up" is more energetic, and mikey100k croons about living lavishly over a playful beat that is reminiscent of the mid-00's "snap" music. Who Needs Friends? concludes with "Family Ties," a single that he dropped off late last year.
