Mari and Jimmy Lit collaborate on a full-length effort.

 While they've collaborated often in the past, artist Mari and producer Jimmy Lit have finally put their heads together to craft a full offering to the tune of five tracks, collectively titled Mari Lit.

“This record pretty much wrote itself,” Jimmy Lit explained of the project. “It’s the result of us having written 20+ demos by accident. I’m quick with beats and I’ve seen Mari go from hearing a beat to having a song in a matter of minutes countless times.”

As both men enjoyed a fruitful 2017, elevating their profiles with appearances on stages like Atlanta's A3C Festival and landing spots on Comedy Central's "Broad City" series, Mari Lit is merely a taste of the heat they're cooking up individually for the new year as they each work on projects of their own.
