Critch takes listeners to the hood.

 After several delays, Jay Critch's Hood Favorite is here. The Brooklyn bred rapper built a strong following off the strength of viral singles and hot features. After promising fans that Hood Favorite would drop in July, the project was pushed back to August before finally getting a November release date. The 12 track mixtape features appearances from fellow New York rappers French Montana and Fabulous, with Migos' Offset rounding out the short list of guests. 

New York artists have been compared to rappers from other regions quite often in the last decade. Critch delivers a genuine East Coast sound mixed with influences from around the nation on Hood Favorite, creating a blend that is all his own. The debut project finds a balance between auto-tuned laced croons and bar-heavy anthems. Hood Favorite is available now on Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music.
