The biggest R&B cast for Disney: Josiah Bassey releases new song “Hold us together”

With D’ Mile and H.E.R., to be featured in the new Disney Plus movie “Safety”


Josiah Bassey wrote the song “Hold us together”, featured in the new Disney Plus movie “Safety”.

Relocated in New York City since 2016, all the way from Nigeria, he is the new sensation the entire music industry want to work with.

It’s performed by the R&B superstar and multiple Grammy winner, H.E.R. and produced was the most nominated R&B producer at the 2020 Grammy Awards, D’ Mile, also known for his work with Janet Jackson, Justin Bieber, Usher, and many more.


Josiah Bassey has always been inspired by his native culture and the musicians who surrounded him in Nigeria : 
I grew up seeing a lot of talented people, and a lot of them lived in my house, because my dad was the pastor of the church, he housed a lot of different musicians.

 Josiah Bassey, one of the most influential songwriters,  is surrounded by the best in the music industry. This past year only, Josiah worked with J White on a song for RCA signed R&B artist Tone Stith.  J White is best known for producing Cardi B's chart-topping singles, "Bodak Yellow" (2017) and "I Like It" (2018). He also worked with Grammy Award Winning Producer Swagg, who produced the song “Devotion” as well as artists such as H.E.R., Alicia Keys, Kehlani, and Ne-Yo to name a few.

I’m always working on new materials. I write a lot of different styles and genres for myself and for other artists. However, I’m doing a lot of fusion with Afro Beats and R&B

Josiah Bassey also toured with Grammy Nominated artist Kierra Sheard in 2016 during her “Bridges Tour”. His collaborations say a lot about his talent. Josiah Bassey is currently working on some new materials.
