Chike The Promise Burning Censer

Born into a Christian family of late Rev. Lazarus Chike in Umuola Etche local Government of Rivers State, Nigeria. Chike The Promise is the seventh (7th) and the last child of his parents. He took after his father who nurtured him while on his missionary journeys, his father baptized him by water and taught him in the way of the Lord.  Promise,started his journey through the children choir at the age of twelve. He further was incorporated into the adult choir when the church discovered his potential as a composer, although inexperienced at that time. But, at Seventeen years of age, he was already leading the adult choir,his prowess in music started growing with time. 

Chike The Promise, is a composer and an anointed singer. He is an educationist and a music leader in his local Church. He attended Community Primary school, Umuola, Government Secondary school, Eberi Omuma Rivers State, and Great Trinity college, Olodi Apapa in Lagos.He attended Calvary College of Theology an affiliate of university of Calabar and other tertiary institutions of learning. He has B.A in Religious education, M.A in Religion and philosophy, Higher Professional Diploma in English and Literary studies and other honorary degrees. His passion for the gospel burns with zest, his songs are inspiring and melodious. He is a child of God, a minister, a teacher, a lover of God and a composer.


Chike The Promise, has produced two different albums of eight (8)tracks each within the last three years. He had his first album in 2017, titled 'PSALMS OF THE LAMB' an eight track album. Being his first album, he was not deterred by any deficiency and support prior to his unknown status in the large music industry. He proceeded to produce another eight track album in 2018,titled 'EXCEPTIONAL' an album that is marketed nationwide by Iyke The Don entertainment. His songs are available on iTunes, Deezer, Spotify, Amazon, Reverberation, etc. Chike The Promise has written over twenty songs in the last three years. He shepherds under different local Churches as a music director, leader and a teacher. His songs undoubtedly will have become more profound in a shortest time possible. He, composes his own songs as led by the Holy Spirit, with craft and professionalism. One will obviously be moved with the dynamism of his voice as well as the grace within.

Chike The Promise had embarked on two major album projects within the last four years and had successfully released both on different years. He sits on the leadership of "The Promise music crew",and has led different stage performances. Also, he is the director of studies at "Passville Consult international". A consult that is geared towards preparing graduates, and undergraduates on sitting for foreign examinations. He is a worship leader and a minister of the gospel. 


Being a visionary gospel artist,Chike The Promise is aimed to using his God given gifts to drawing men to God.He is presently working for his third album which is set to be released before December 2019. The new album titled: " BURNING CENSER" will officially be distributed by Iyke The Don entertainment, and will go live in all online music distribution sites. His vision is to produce inspiring songs that will change people's  lives all around the globe. The dying world is devoid of God's fire  hence the level of decadence, with entertainment fast replacing inspiration.  Bridging the gap becomes a necessity, not just to entertain but to minister as unto the Lord through songs that are edifying and uplifting. "Burning Censer " as it sounds is an album that contains songs that will create a Heavenly atmosphere and makes one yearn for God. However, the production is underway and everything about the upcoming album project will be unveiled with time as God is set to do something spectacular in our lives through this project.
