"Year of the Youth" is coming.

 Right now, we’re waiting on the arrival of South Florida rapper Nell’s forthcoming Year of The Youth project, but before that arrives the Carol City-bred artist has decided to gift fans with a brief EP, to the tune of 4 tracks only.

Production credits go to Willy D, Dragonite, and Showoffbeats, while Nell holds it down solo with no features. You may be familiar with Nell as a former member of the C9 collective alongside Denzel Curry. While C9 is no more, Nell’s set on a mission on making an impact of his own.

“I am my legacy, a legend, you understand? I’m before my time,” he said in an interview last year. “People should understand who I am and really get to know what I bring to the music industry because I have such an impact reaching out to the people that lame listeners don’t understand. I do certain things that people don’t touch in today’s music industry. People should know me because I’m an icon. I’m something that would mold the music industry into something that it is today.”
