The Memphis songwriter has shared her fourth studio LP.
Michelle has often expressed that she would like to make a full country album, but she has had trouble convincing her label, Atlantic, to let her move away from R&B. A few tracks on the new record hint towards that direction (and Michelle is scheduled to release a country EP in the near future). It also features many ballads, raps, and sensual slow jams. Producers contributing to the project include Darkchild, Eric Hudson, Lil Ronnie, and DJ Camper. "I can honestly say this is my best vocal album and you will get those in ballads like "Bring On Love" and "No Not You," she told Billboard earlier this year. "That speaks to who I am and the person and the woman that I’ve become. So I just say it’s a little piece on this roller coaster journey that the album takes you in."
