Iman Shumpert drops off his new EP "Substance Abuse."

 The relationship between basketball and hip hop is incredibly tight. There's rappers that are talented on the court while some ballers have flexed their lyrical dexterity on the mic. For the most part, basketball players that rap aren't nearly as good on wax as they are on the court. One person who's proven to be equally talented at both is Iman Shumpert. The Cavaliers player has been showing off his musical side for a minute and took his talents to Funk Master Flex for an incredible freestyle session. Now, he's released his latest EP, Substance Abuse.

Iman Shumpert returns with his new EP, Substance Abuse. The rapper's latest project consists of six songs and he holds down the project entirely on his own. The rapper even tackles some production from Outkast on "Elevators."

Aside from his musical ventures, Iman's been keeping himself busy with his ball career and family life. He and his wife, Teyana Taylor, recently premiered their VH1 reality show, "Teyana & Iman" which highlights their successful careers but their home life as well.

With the release of Substance Abuse, hopefully we end up getting some visuals off the project. It's another effort from Iman that proves he's a multi talented individual.
