G2 releases his new project.
G2 recently dropped off his single, "Peep Hole" with Southside which served as the first single of his forthcoming project. G2's caught a pretty decent buzz in recent times but after signing to Southside, he's clearly looking to reach new heights. Today, he returns with his new project, OFF IT.
G2's OFF IT is a formal introduction to the California artist. The rapper's new project is filled with abrasive bangers from top to bottom and includes production from Southside as well as a verse from the producer's alter ego, Young Sizzle. G Herbo also features on the project as well. G2 enlists Pyrex, who handles the majority of the production, as well as Redda and Diablo.
"I first started recording OFF IT in Miami, and then took it to New York. I thought my project was done," he explained to Complex. "As I was on tour, I sent some songs to Southside, he liked some of the music, but told me I had more work to do. So, I hopped off tour, met Southside in L.A., and Pyrex came down. I made about 10 songs with Pyrex, then Southside told me I needed to swap out five songs I already had on my project with five songs I did with Pyrex, and that is how OFF IT happened."
