DOWNFALL 2012 RELEASE THEIR NEW ACOUSTIC ALBUM "ADAPT

DOWNFALL 2012
Daniel Gil ~ Vocals and Guitar
Boo Rogers ~ Bass and Vocals
Casey Bowen ~ Drums and Vocals

In February of 2020, just before the world got turned upside-down, Downfall 2012, the alternative metal trio out of Houston, with their signature high-energy performances and undeniable 'wall of sound',  decided to create something new.

“Adapt” is Casey Bowen, Boo Rogers, and Danny Gil’s 4th full-length studio record together…and…(wait of it)...it is acoustic. The band ventured out to LA to team up with producer/engineer Jim Finley to create the album. But this is not your standard metal band’s acoustic record. This is something different.  With "Adapt", Downfall 2012 is excited to offer a reinvented incarnation of the band, with an ensemble of eight entirely reinterpreted originals that will appeal to a broad audience, across demographics and musical tastes.

The 9th and final track is a cover song “Fated, Faithful, and Fatal”, which became available as a single release on all streaming platforms  (Spotify, Apple Music, etc)  at the beginning of July.
The title “Adapt” is suitable as a direct reference to the adaptations of these songs, but, more importantly, the name parallels the current unprecedented state of our world in these uncertain times.  While many other artists are pausing their operations and holding releases until tour planning can commence, Downfall 2012 has boldly decided to push past the barriers to the industry and present this record in the midst of it all, to give the people something to enjoy in these trying times.

Downfall 2012 has become well known for routine virtual concert casts to supplement touring, and plans to continue to adapt as events an unknown future unfolds.
We are doing everything we can to provide some level of normalcy and comfort for music enthusiasts, as we make our way through this pandemic. We are very fortunate to be able to do so in such a strange time for entertainment and humanity.
