NEW EP "HANGING ON" OFFERS SNEAK PEEK AT UPCOMING ALBUM BY INTERNATIONAL PUNK-ROCK BAND SINNER SINNERS

With over a decade of touring worldwide with bands such as Refused, The Sonics, Black Flag, Eagles of Death Metal or Nashville Pussy, the Los Angeles-based SINNER SINNERS, founded in 2009 by Sam and Steve Thill, is releasing a new special EP, “Hanging On”.

SINNER SINNERS made a name for themselves in 2014, with the release of their raucous, aggressive second full-length album, XI,  recorded at the Glory Hole in Hollywood, CA and produced by Nic Jodoin (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club).
Three amazing singles and music videos have spawned from the record (‘No Hard Feelings’, ‘Modern Man’, and ‘Darkness Forever’) with hundreds of thousands of views on them, collectively.

In 2015, SINNER SINNERS toured with Eagles of Death Metal for a world tour, which came as no surprise due to their close relationship with Jesse Hughes. Also that year, SINNER SINNERS was personally invited to perform with Refused at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles. As Refused fans since their teens, this was a dream come true for the band.

With Optimism Disorder their third album released in 2017, SINNER SINNERS unleashed an auditory Molotov cocktail evoking the intensity of '80s Hardcore fused with furious '70s Gothic Punk.

“This record took 18 months to complete – we went through some very tough shit in our lives during this time, which is the main reason it took so long. As a result, it’s definitely the darkest stuff we’ve ever written,” states guitarist/frontman Steve Thill. “We went for something darker, moodier and heavier and at the same time took a more classic rock approach to it.--Steve Till

Another legendary place was chosen to record this LP: Rancho de La Luna in Joshua Tree, California, where the Desert Sessions were born and artists including Queens of the Stone Age, Iggy Pop, Kyuss, Arctic Monkeys were recorded. Produced by Adam Greenspan (Refused, INVSN, Maximo Park).

In 2019, SINNER SINNERS recorded “black hearts” and “bleached out” to complete Puritanism, a compilation of singles released with British label Dissention Records and distributed by The Orchard Music.

While recording their new album, SINNER SINNERS is now releasing a special EP, “Hanging On”, which features 3 cover tracks : the Cure’s “Jumping someone else’s train”, the Supremes “keep me hanging on” and Eddie Floyd’s “big Bird”.

“We have released covers before. There were two on our last album and we’ve cut a few in between records as well. These were released both as singles and on compilation albums. We are in the process of writing and recording a new record and we thought it would be fun to drop an EP of covers in the meantime, which will be released on August 19, 2022. It includes 3 cover tracks : the Cure’s “Jumping someone else’s train”, the Supremes “keep me hanging on” and Eddie Floyd’s “big Bird”.

Blending Punk-Inspired Anthems with Classic Rock Influences SINNER SINNERS  is a live band that never makes compromises.

SINNER SINNERS' new album is set to be released in 2023. Take this EP as an inside peek at the band's inspiration.
