Introducing JDEZ, bay San Francisco-based hip hop artist on his musical inspirations and pushing the limits of rap music


He can be described in six words – “Stylish — Always — Courageous — Hustler —Earning — Yearly.” Hence, he came up with his artist name, JDEZ. The album “Beautiful Melodies Terrible Things” is a unique collaboration of hottest talents to create fresh music. Being passionate about music and his roots, artist JDEZ is all about exploring themes that influence his personal experiences.

JDEZ’s songs are far from mainstream. As they are intended to, his songs have brought to light many issues and experiences that most listeners will relate to. Beautiful Melodies Terrible Things album has a fantastic collaboration of talented local artists like Lunaz Gabrielle, Ave Marcello,  Fungi Vibes and Corey Malik, to name a few.

Who is Jdez, JDEZ (whos real name is Jason) was born and raised in the city by the bay San Francisco California. Despite growing up in the Hyphy movement he has a more of an urban/pop sound. with his melodic universal sound his smokey voice blends well with any artist and genre of music over a period of 12 years he has released singles, but released his debut album in 2018 “Beautiful Melodies Terrible Things”  was influenced from East Coast hip hop when he was young such as Mobb Deep and Wu-Tang Clan. although they were before his time it shows how much he takes in good music whether its from his time or after. His parents both immigrants came to America with an open mind for the culture and music. He would listen to oldies in the car like Al Green, Fleetwood Mac, and The Eagles to name a few. As he become a teen he was more influenced by the local hip hop scene and listened to E-40, Messy Marv, San Quinn, Berner etc.
