Let’s face it: the past year has been quite a challenge for most musicians and people of all walks of life. Some of us have been stuck indoors and unable to tour or record, while others simply did not have the opportunity to continue to make their beautiful music due to the hard-ships of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thankfully, this is not the case of the amazing John-Paul "Jp" Jones, one of the most gifted artists of his generation. What makes John-Paul "Jp" Jones’s music unique is the fact tha this style blurs the lines between a huge variety of influences. He started singing professionally in the 90s, so you will definitely see some influences from that era of songwriting and performance into his sound as well. His most recent studio release, "Broke In Bridge City ," is actually an amazing example of what I am describing here! This song is well-produced as well, highlighting the fact that John-Paul "Jp" Jones knows what he is doing in terms of recording and capturing nothing but the very best. In addition to the charming musicality of this release, I also love its artwork. I really love it when artists are able to get creative with their visuals and match their artwork with their songs to perfection - this de-finitely seems to be the case with John-Paul "Jp" Jones!
