The artists of SLMP Duke Sims from the well-known group Shinobi Ninja and Crystalla Gonzalez from No Grudges, a Funk Punk Rock duo, bring their heart and soul into 2012. They truly make the song come to life.

Their first single, 2012, is about a friend who attempted suicide. They wanted to dedicate a song to them and for everyone out there struggling with mental health issues. With COVID raging, it's more important now than ever. Jolie Liz has been writing for 20 years. Melodies and lyrics started popping into her head at a very young age, and she hasn't stopped writing since. Inspired by the Counting Crows, Bob Dylan, and the Rolling Stones, she's written about everything from love and war to mental health.
